Targeted Grazing
We rent goats out all over Coldspring, Tx and surrounding areas to clear invasive and unwanted plant species. Got English Ivy, kudzu, privet, poison ivy, brush or weeds you like to see go? We service retention ponds, residential yards, fence lines, parks and commercial areas.
The exact number of goats per acre to clear a plot of land varies depending on the context. However, it generally takes about 8 goats per acre over the span of one month.
Generally speaking, a brush goat herd will naturally select about 60% browse, 10% weeds, and 30% grasses for their diet if given plenty of choices.

Social events, business events, marketing events, parties, just for the heck of it, you name it and our goats will be there to add some excitement and fun. We can do indoor and outdoor parties!
ADDITIONAL GOATS
Each additional goat added to your order will be an extra $25 per hr. We generally have 4-6 available. Reach out to us when booking to see how many are available for your event.
Payment: Required in full at time of booking. Your payment is 100% refundable up until 24hrs before your event. Cancellations/rescheduling due to weather are refundable.
Rescheduling: Rescheduling less than 24hrs before your event (unless due to weather) results in an additional fee.
Cancellations: Cancellations less than 24hrs before your event (unless due to weather) result in a 50% refund.

Additional Brush Clearing
Goats are not a simple solution for clearing land left completely unmanaged for extended periods.
While goats are great additions to clearing on a farm or homestead, and they are indeed eating machines, there are limitations to their clearing ability.
For example, goats will not clear any trees other than some small saplings.
They are somewhat picky eaters and will opt for their favorite plants if given various choices.
Livestock Transport
We hire out our truck and trailer for local transportation! Veterinary Visits, Playdays, Shows and More. We are available to schedule transport for your event.
Cattle Moves include: Vet Visits, Auction Pickup, Pasture Swaps and More!
24 Hour Service

We use a 2 horse trailer. We pull with a 1999 Ford F550 truck with 4 Wheel Drive and enhanced suspension.
Minimum Load time and distance =
1 hrs or 50 miles / $ 150
3.50 every mile after
On trips over 50 miles or 1 hr the owner is asked to supply one bale of hay per animal in order not to disrupt your animals’ diet.
Maximum Load Time = 4 hrs one way
YOU will be responsible for loading and unloading of your livestock.
NOTE:
Upon our arrival all animals should be prepared appropriately for transport (leg bandaging or other preparation desired by owner) and ready to load. If the animals will not load after 2 hours, the trip will be cancelled and the owner will be charged for the full amount that was quoted for the trip.
All reasonable care will be taken for safe transport of your stock. If your stock requires any special care, instructions must be provided in writing, and any special supplies must be provided by the owner.
Our insurance does not cover the animals we transport. This is the responsibility of the owner.
We assume no liability for circumstances beyond our control.

Prepayment for transportation can be made with VENMO, or PAYPAL, or CASH App at Time of Pickup
Stock will not be unloaded at delivery point until payment is complete.
